All the same benefits of an in-person practice, but you won’t need to drive home, just fall asleep in your own bed :) Yoga Nidra promotes deep relaxation with no movement involved. The Hindi translation of Yoga Nidra is literally "yogic sleep" and practitioners will be guided through gentle breath work, a relaxing body-scan, and a positive guided meditation into a state of extreme physical relaxation and full mental presence. Yoga Nidra creates greater awareness of body and mind in a highly relaxed yet alert state, helping you gain control of the autonomic nervous system. We will start with some restorative yoga postures and then get comfortable for the guided meditation portion.
