Carol Leigh Arroyo established Ascendance Enclave in April 2022 after she had an incredible life-altering vision for her future during a reiki healing and chakra cleansing meditation. This vision from her spiritual guides inspired her to create within her own home an 'enclave" that could become a place for yoga practice/instruction, a space for reiki energetic healing, and a community for like-minded practitioners to build their own holistic businesses. 

With over 30 years of experience in the dance world and 20 years of working as a ballet instructor, Leigh decided to take a step back from teaching all of her amazing students so she could stay home full-time to be a work-from-home mom in 2021. Over the next year she realized as much as she had loved dancing ballet her entire life, it had caused a good amount of physical damage over the years. She turned to physical therapy and began to practice yoga as a way to heal her body from chronic pain. Leigh also began consistently using her Level 2 Reiki training to balance her inner body, mind and spirit and has now advanced to the Reiki Master level of training now! The combination of the two practices led her down the path to become a certified yoga instructor and claim her purpose as a reiki healer so she could share the transformation she experienced with anyone and everyone in her community. 

With Leigh’s extensive teaching experience and her 200 hour yoga teacher training under her belt, she is thrilled to offer yoga classes for all abilities in her own micro-studio and at other yoga studios around Vancouver, WA. She is currently working toward her Reiki Master Teacher certification through on-going instruction and practice!
